What’s Your Favorite Fish Recipe?

Filed under: Main, Seafood — Susanne @ 1:18 pm

Since today is Good Friday and I was raised catholic, I’m going to prepare some fish for dinner. Depending on the weather, I usually bake it or cook it on the grill. Since it’s supposed to be rainy today, we’re having some baked white fish fillets for dinner.

By far my favorite is to wrap a salmon fillet in some aluminum foil with some lemon and dill and then either bake it or cook it on the grill (in the foil) until it is done.

How about you? What’s your favorite fish fillet? Submit your recipe as a comment below.

I like to steam my white fish cod, halibut etc with lemon juice garlic powder and pepper. put a rack in a pan add just enough water to reach the bottom of the rack , set the fillets on rack steam covered 10-15 minutes or until fish flakes with fork

I like to do salmon, in a silver foil tray in the oven. Just put some spices on top and bake it.

You can put in some potatoes, and half way through the baking add some vegetables.

I like to steam cod and carrots and use a little chili and eat together with potatoes or rice supplemented with butter - lots of butter :-)

Sock-eye salmon from trader joes right out of the can.. love it. Goes good on a sandwich or salad too. Even has lil’ bones in it that taste great!!!

Of course, who can turn down lobster or crab legs, but that’s a whole different story
