What Can I Make With Rice Krispies Cereal?
My friend was just telling me that she makes her French toast with Rice Krispies. She said it’s just heavenly.
Here’s what she does -
She dips the bread into the regular egg & milk mixture, then dips it into crushed rice krispies.
Then, she fries the bread like normal French toast. I’ve got to try this. Sounds great!
So, what do you make with Rice Krispies Cereal?

I like to use them as a coating for baked chicken. Marinate 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in buttermilk for 4 hours. Remove, discard buttermilk. Season chicken with salt and peppera dn, while still moist with buttermilk, dredge the chicken in the cereal. Press to coat. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 400 for 30 minutes.

Rice Krispie Kugel
3 cups rice krispies
3 eggs
2 cups cottage cheese (I use low fat)
A few Tablespoons of onion soup powder
Mix and pour into baking dish. The original recipe called for sliced fresh onion rings on top. My kids however love the french fried onions you buy at the grocery store. It give the casserole a nice brown color.
Bake about 1 hour at about 350. Serve hot.
My kids will eat the entire thing in less than 24 hours. They just keep cutting small pieces.

[...] Do you ever find one of those old boxes of cereals in them that haven’t gone bad, but just don’t taste fresh enough anymore to enjoy with some milk as regular cereal in teh morning? If that happens to you as often as it does to me, you may want to start cooking with rice crispy cereal (or any other ceral you find for that matter). [...]
