#14 - Beverlee, the 15 oz box would definitely be 425 g - this is a standard cereal box size in Canada I think.

15 oz is equal to 425.24 grams, I'm in Canada too, I use online conversion charts when needed. Just Google 'conversion chart'

Beverlee asked for the volume measure of a 15-ounce box of a Post Raisin Bran. From an actual Post box: A Raisin Bran 15 oz. box equals 425 grams. A serving size is one-cup(liquid or volume)or 59 grams in weight. The 15 oz box yields "about" 7 cups.

A 20 oz box of Kellog's Raisin Bran says it has about 10 1 C Servings per Container.
So about 2 oz = 1 C so 2:1=15:x= 15/2x = 7.5 C -- Recheck my math -- I was not a math major!!! ;o)

I'm looking at the recipe from DD Sherwin. Can anyone tell me how many ounces (ie. cups not weight) of cereal this would be? I'm in Canada and we don't have 15 ounce boxes. Thank you!

You can also try crushing it up and breading meat with it the raisins will caramelize if baked.

I know that raisin bran cereal is used in many other ways due to the rich content of fiber and other vital vitamins. Excellent for a good digestive system.
