Super Simple Fried Oysters

You'll need:

Pancake Mix
Chucked, fresh oysters
Oil for frying
Paper towels

Lightly toss the oysters (a few at a time) in the pancake mix, shake of the excess flower mixture and fry them in 350 degree oil until they are golden and crispy.

Let them drain on paper towels and serve with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce.

Simple, but very yummy :)

Here's our favorite oyster stew recipe. Simple but good.

OYSTER STEW

    *  1 pint oysters
    * 4 tablespoons butter
    * Salt, pepper, paprika
    * 1 quart rich milk

   1. Put cleaned oysters, strained oyster liquor, butter and seasoning into a saucepan and simmer gently until oysters curl at the edges.
   2. Add the milk and bring quickly to the simmering point.
   3. Serve very hot.
