What Can I Make with Macaroni and Cheese?
I know you creative minds will have some ideas for me.
My kids love Kraft Mac and Cheese a little too much. I’d love some ideas to refresh this old standard and make it something new and exciting. Any ideas that will add some nutrition to this meal — and still taste good to kids?

My oldest loves Mac & Cheese. I have added chicken in the Mac & Cheese. If your kids loves tuna, it is good in Mac & Cheese also.
After adding meat, Add a little milk!

Try adding some veggies in there along with the meat. I’ve added chopped tomato, cooked broccoli, peas, corn etc. Add some meat and a few veggies for a mac & cheese casserole.

My toddlers love their mac and cheese with tuna and peas added. They won’t eat the peas plain but they’ll eat them in the mac and cheese.

If you add a side of cold carrots and peanut butter. Especially for people who don’t eat meat. They can get their protein and veggies.

Hi There!
My Pops was a single dad–and at times he was getting home after dinner time–what to feed the kids?
Well, he made a killer Mac and Cheese with ground beef! He spiced up the beef with his Italian flair–and mixed it in with the cooked Mac and Cheese! Yum!!!

You can put almost anything into mac n cheese. Cooked ground beef, lil smokies or hot dog slices, broccoli, Green beans. I loved mac n cheese growing up and it got to the point where I wanted to change the flavor of plain mac n cheese. I’d add extra cheddar, parmesan cheese, bacon bits, or even garlic powder!

Usually adding in browned beef and tomato sauce turns the usual mac and cheese into American Chopped Suey

We can’t forget about Italian sausage. Hot Italian for the big kids or Sweet (sometimes called Mild) Italian sausage for the little one’s. Easy to cook up and delicious!

My son loves mac and cheese with ground beef. What he doesn’t know…muahaha……..is that I buy soy & veggie protein “ground beef” it comes frozen…I just toss it in when the mac is half way done boiling and then add the cheese, milk, butter. That with a side of veggies and I’m feeling pretty good about the vitamin content of his meal.

I like to make a great tuna casserole with 1 box of macaroni and cheese, prepared first, add 1 can of drained tuna, 1 can of cream of celery soup, some extra water and mix it all up. You are done! This recipe is yummy, easy and quick!

When we’re in a pinch and don’t have much in the cupboards, I make a box of mac and cheese according to directions, cook sliced hot dogs in a seperate pan, mix the two together, and add either a can of No bean chili or some BBQ sauce.
