What Can I Make with Extra Taco Bell Hot Sauce Packets?
oops. I went to Taco Bell the other day to get some Spicy Chicken Burritos and ended up with a few extra sauce packets.
Now, I’m not condoning stealing Taco Bell sauce packets, BUT.. if you end up with an extra one or two, what would you do with them?
I added one to a box of Macaroni and Cheese and it was quite yummy. I added another to a Turkey wrap I make that was just turkey and cream cheese. Again, yummy.
What would you make with a packet of Taco Bell sauce?

Quesadillas. Yummy!!! Put in cheese, olives, tomatoes, onions and then pour the sauce on while it’s cooking.

The answer is: everything. I love taco bell sauce so much and my dream christmas present is a bottle of it – but the packet kind, not the kind they bottle for supermarkets. The flavor is 100% different!

mix the hot or fire styles into a can of black beans with fresh garlic(to taste) throw into food proccessor makes wonderful bean dip without having to figure out how many spices you gotta use to get it just right… if still bland add mild… fire is just heat, hot is heat and some flavor, mild is FLAVOR and a hint of heat so guage your dip on your preference of heat/spice ratio

If you mix in a packet of mayo and a packet of pickle relish, you can make something resembling thousand island dressing with a bit of a kick.
As for a bottled version, Trader Joe’s sells a bottled enchilada sauce which is extremely versatile and acts kind of like an upscale version of Taco Bell mild sauce. It goes great on eggs and cheese. Or you can microwave a frozen burrito, add some enchilada sauce and/or cheese, and/or avocado/guacamole and/or sour cream for a poor man’s burrito enchilada style.

Taco Bell sauce is VERY versatile! I’ve used it in Mexican dishes, mixed it with white rice for a light lunch, drizzled it inside veggie wraps, and I’m writing down a recipe right now that combines the Fire sauce, garlic scape, and Mountain Dew for a chicken recipe. I might even add it to homemade barbecue sauce one of these days…
