What Can I Make with Chickpeas or Garbanzo Beans?
I know they are healthy for you and full of fiber, but what in the heck do you do with Garbanzo beans?
I like storebought hummus, but my homemade attempts are always a bit gross. (bleck)
Are there any chickpea afficionados that can help? What CAN I make with garbanzo beans?

Ooh. This is one of my favorite snacks for kids –
Baked Chickpeas
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Rinse and drain a can of chickpeas.
Let drain in the collander for a minute.
Add chickpeas to a baking dish.
Add some good olive oil (or canola oil).
Toss in a bit of spices if you like.
Bake until the chickpeas are a bit crunchy.
These are wonderful as a replacement for croutons if you are on a low-carb diet.

Add some garbanzo beans on top of any type of salad for some extra texture.
