What Can I Make With Brie?

Filed under: Dairy — Susanne @ 9:44 am

I’ve heard of people cooking with Brie cheese, but have never tried it myself.  I love to eat it with some nice crusty French bread and a glass of good wine, so I’m sure I would love anything cooked with this creamy cheese as well. I’m sure it melts beautifully.

Have you cooked with it before? If so, how did you use it? Did you bake the entire wheel of Brie or did you cut it up and use it in your dish. Leave your favorite Brie recipe as a comment below. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

A good simple one for brie is to batter and deep fry it. Just use a simple batter as you would for fish etc. You can do this with a full round or smaller pieces.

Another way i’ve done it is baked. This is best done in a whole piece as the skin holds it together, even better if it’s still in the wooden box (stapled not glued!). Serve it with smoked bacon as a starter.

    Same opinion as above. Thanks
