Ooohhh.. I love Egg Nog!

Filed under: Drinks, Main — Susanne @ 10:09 am

Egg nog is sooo creamy-licious. I just love it. (And, yes, I DO know how incredibly fattening it is.. but it’s just too creamy-good!)

What do you make with Egg Nog? My favorite thing around the holidays is to add egg nog to my coffee in the morning with a little bit of milk to make a really creamy, festive drink.

Are there any recipes that give you the feel for egg nog without all the fat? Or any other uses for egg nog that make you look forward to the holidays?

Let me have it! :)

Hi, the fat is not the best thing but the main problem with egg nog is the sugar. Sugar makes your insulin skyrocket(making you fat)feeds infections and tumors in the body and causes inflammation. Sugar includes all starchy carbohydrates(converted by the body into sugar).

Hi. My husband is diabetic, but he loves his egg nog. I still make it for him every year around Christmas time and there is little fat.

I use one egg. milk. and half a tablespoon of splenda (this serves one)

In a large container, I mix these ingredients until it is blended in.

    Hope you enjoy it.
